OH. MY. GOD.
In a way, I'm glad because the recent self-destruction at the News-Press was so amateurish and unbelievable that I was almost, nearly, sort of, maybe beginning to feel a little sorry for them. Hiring Dr. Laura should make me feel very sorry for them because it shows how out of touch those guys are. But, no, it doesn't. Now I am positive that I will never buy a News-Press again, until the headline tells me that the paper has been sold.
What are they thinking? Who's next? Bill O'Reilly?
Do any of you SB locals know how someone outside the area (WAY outside) can get a copy of this panel?
Hey, the Snooze-Press needs a physiologist who calls herself "Dr".
It's only two days a week to balance the psychologist who calls himself "Dr" in the Tuesday edition.
Next will be all the other PhDs calling themselves "Dr" and all the attorneys with JDs; soon it will be just the minority in this town who are not Dr. thisorthater.

There she is front and center on the newsupressmess pages, "dr" LAURA, the mean-spirited, bigoted, psuedo-moral-izing fraud. Who will she demonize first--young people who have sex "outside of marriage"? same-sex couples who are parents? women who have careers outside the home? those who criticize the war.
OK, will EVERYONE please cancel now....this is ludicrous. This fight will have to be taken to the advertisers
