The Indy got that story first, in a comment posted by "Matt K" last night under the SB Media Blog.
Disgraceful! Too many balanced, multi-point of view news stories, I imagine, instead of stories that hewed to the Ampersand party line of pro-pig/anti-National Park Service/Nature Conservancy.
The Union has to go one step at a time. First the NLRB has to force Amersand to negotiate with them. Then they can begin working on getting some of these folks' jobs back. Don't start blaming the Union for management's continued intransigence.

Doesn't look like the union is protecting the reporters.
So long, Anna. You were great.
I've seen bad companies and horrible bosses, but never anything like the N-P. Bottom of the barrel.

Here's the trivia question some of us are wondering- how many of the original employees are still there? dd
Re: "The NP has devolved to a level with the Montecito Journal"--no, it's worse. At least the MJ now has a decent website!
