The Indy got that story first, in a comment posted by "Matt K" last night under the SB Media Blog.
Doesn't look like the union is protecting the reporters.
So long, Anna. You were great.I've seen bad companies and horrible bosses, but never anything like the N-P. Bottom of the barrel.

The Union has to go one step at a time. First the NLRB has to force Amersand to negotiate with them. Then they can begin working on getting some of these folks' jobs back. Don't start blaming the Union for management's continued intransigence.

"wow no comments? wowsa, folks, maybe mccaw is winning."What's left to say? The NP has devolved to a level with the Montecito Journal and management (a term very loosely applied here) manages to make it worse every day. Is there a hospice for newspapers?
Re: "The NP has devolved to a level with the Montecito Journal"--no, it's worse. At least the MJ now has a decent website!
