Supervisor Rose Says "No Mas"

Supervisor Susan Rose announced this morning thhat she won't run for reelection electing to "spend more time with her husband and family". Possible candidates? Williams, Falcone, Wolfe and Landecker -- any others? Let the games begin...

Possible topics? Can David Landecker overcome a ten-year old indiscretion at Home Improvement Center? Can Williams or Falcone get the Noleta vote and what does this mean for annexation?

Add to the questions: Can Dan Secord get the environmentalists' votes? He's been good on the Coastal Commission.

Secord's an elitist that thinks privilege for a few is a natural.

If any reason to support Das for Supervisor, is that once elected he will kick the ass of Firestone again, and again, and again. Brooks does not seem to want to play politics and actually make deals, so all the more reason to expose Firestone and his dimness so he becomes unelectable next time.

Williams needs to cool his heels, finish his City Council term and demonstrate that he can grow up.

Landecker carries too much baggage. Davies et al would have a field day with his indiscretion regardless of the dollar amount of the pricetag he switched. Theft is- well, theft.

This is politics, people; now more than ever progressives need to hold onto the County Districts we have.

Time to get behind Janet Wolf, and not waste precious energy fighting it out among ourselves.

We have elected Janet Wolf already, 13 months before the term starts?

The final could be Williams vs. Wolf, the two actually leading candidates in the likely field of four. This is not a partisan primary with the winner per political party, so Secord is the automatic Repub winner to run against the Dem in November 2006.

Jesus Christ? Falcone vs Williams? She wasn't running against Blum. She isn't running against St. Das. Stop propping up the straw people.

Real glad Das is not going to be around to work with the people he supported for Council. He's a team player. In poker! But could you please fix the shitty broken streets in my part of town before you decide about where the blame for the decline of the otter should lie? We are paying you to work for us and not just run for your next post on the line, right??????

Landecker will not run. The runoff will be Williams against Wolf. The South Coast liberal intellegencia will be as factioned as ever as a result.

Stephanie Langsdorf will be the campaign manager, and her constant grudge will be their downfall.

Or, Das will be convinced NOT to run for Supervisor in exchange for very big favors owed in return by that Intellegentcia.

Paper said this morning that Das has lined up Stephanie Langsdorf as his probable campaign manager. What,1st district streetfighter,is her "constant grudge"? Seems to me, an outsider, that the House campaign did a good job (she the campaign manager) or was it just that Grant House is such a good candidate?

But I can't believe that Das seriously will run - really pisses on those who voted for him for city council....

The problem is Langsdorf was working for Das while working for Grant. The whole City Council race was infected with Das's ambition. Notice the glossly flier from Das with "his" candidates and his GQ shot overlooking the Los Positas Valley. It was a 2nd District Campaign piece disguised as a City Council flier. He never planned on working with "his" candidates. It was all positioning.

Gee what a suprise, Das for Supervisor. Absolutely shocking, eh? Most dangerous place in the world right now is anywhere between Das and a camera.

Without Falcone to out flank on the left, stand by for a vicious smear campaign against Janet Wolf.

Falcone will not be dragged into the supervisor race. It's an open secret that her aspirations are for the mayor's seat, not for the BoS.

Das will flame out. Wolfe or Landecker are adults and will tear him apart.
