McCaw Continues to Amaze

Craig Smith reports that the Santa Barbara News-Press wants to hold the 3rd District election over again -- I guess she thinks students don't read newspapers.

Another amazing thing about the News-Press is that there was absolutely no coverage in today's paper about the President's press conference yesterday. I guess that McCaw is now taking her cues from Fox News. Choosing what to cover is as much a political choice as an editorial one and it is McCaw's paper so she gets to make editorial choices that reflect her politics. But two opinion pieces on the fate of the poor feral kitties of San Nicholas Island and not a single word on the policy priorities of the President of the United States? Someone compentent please buy this paper.

Craig needs a new game plan for his life. His pettiness keeps his knickers in a twist and demeans himself more than he has any influence on the NewsPress. Imagine a grown man with such a childish obsession. Don't get why he has chosen hating the NewsPress as his only meaningful focus in retirement while he draws his public employee pension. What a waste of his alleged education.

And now DTSINO John Thyne is the guest of "Travis Factswrong" on his slander radio show.

Picking sides and rolling with dogs and catching mange.

Craig Smith's criticism of the News-Press has become so knee-jerk that it has long lost the intended affect. Craig blindly hates everything News-Press/Armstrong/McCaw. No matter the issue, he bends and twists the facts to suit his position, and universally places every imaginable fault directly at their feet. In Craig's eyes, Travis and Wendy can do nothing right. By the same token, each and every target chosen by the News-Press is as innocent as a new born lamb.

I could not agree more with Armstrong's comments about McLafferty. The judge was over the top in his public comments about the case, and seemed to be overly biased against the Pappas and his efforts to get to the truth. But why should Craig recognize any of this? He's shares the same blind bias!

I join Travis in hoping that a more honest, open and objective appeals court will allow the scrutiny that this issue deserves.

Oh please Bill Carson, your ideological slip is showing, how undignified. The real problem with the News-Press is that they really cannot get anything right. For goodness sake, championing the feral kitties of San Nicholas Island? Give me a break. As far as Pappas is concerned, he is just trying to steal votes from people he believes should not have the right to vote. Maybe he should have only the wealth and position provided him by primogeniture. His Greek fishing boat awaits. On the other hand, if Pappas wants to live in a democracy (the legacy of his ethnic forbearers) and is really dedicated to getting "to the truth," he should simply accept the fact that he lost and get on with his life. I suppose that we could give this issue more scrutiny, just as we may spend time scutinizing odure left in the road by a dog, but why would we want to?

What it looks like from here is that Pappas is trying to ruin Farr, just destroy her with legal fees. A rich boy's game.

The Judge's decision was sound. If you do not get that you are probably not a lawyer. Or went to Tulsa Tech.

Eckermann:

I would not accuse others of bias, since your analogy was wrong. Fox News did broadcast the Presidents speech, their broadcast net which has no news division did not.

I basically agree with your point but its stronger when you actually know what you are talking about in terms of your other comments.

The News Press, Hannity, O'Reilly and Keith Obermann are all the end of journalism in America. Its like tv and print for lemmings by lemmings...and Pappas looks like Chief Wiggums.
